What is Mr.Green?
Mr. Green is a multiplayer game community hosting a range of game servers for the public to play on. A lot of the current game servers are based around Steam games. The community itself is currently managed by Ywa (co-founder) and Clavus, whom pay the server costs, provide technical support and oversee server development. All server operations are based in the Netherlands.
Forums and groups
Mr. Green spread on several different services over time. Currently there are two forums. The original Dutch forum and the Left4Green forum that was created to host international guests. Both forums are quickly accessible through the portal. We also have an active Steam group where most server-related announcements are made. Last but not least, there is also a WhatPulse group and a Xfire clan (although that one isn't really used for anything).
Origin of the name and logo
The "Mr. Green" name and logo originate from a commonly used emoticon used on web forums. You can see a high resolution version of this smiley in the top-left corner of this page, as it's also the wiki logo.
How can I play?
To join a Mr. Green game server you will need to have a legal copy of the game installed on your computer. For Steam games you will need to have the Steam service installed on your computer too. Game server IP addresses are provided on the portal page. Most multiplayer games will allow you to add these addresses to a list of favourites, making them easy to find the next time you start your game.
