Arena watchtower

Summary
Arena_watchtower was the first user(community) made map in TF2, made by Joshua "JoshuaC" Shiflet. It's a simple and symetrical map.
This map is completely different from the other TF2 maps:
- It's very open, ideal for snipers
- It's extremely simple
- No real details, just plain and simple design.
- The center point is enclosed, not open.
But it works.
There is not much more to say about this map, only that it takes place in a more foresty place, seen in arena_lumberyard.
What makes this map unique?
- It's simple design is classic, making it easy to understand, even for newer players
- Since it's CP is enclosed *It's not open like other Arena maps*, you can hide in it, or safely secure it while you wait untill it becomes available.
The cp is not on the floor; It's in the air, you have 3 entrances to reach it:
- Stair Entrance: Go the the lowest point *on the bottom* and walk up on one of the 2 stairs (Same destination, only other side)
- Pipe Entrance: Simpley walk ahead to the CP, take the stairs, walk up, and you are in the CP Watchtower. OR go left or right, walk up the log, and follow that pipe, to reach the CP as well.
Strategies
- Use Demoman or Soldiers to get on the roof of the CP building. You have a good look on the whole map, and 2 spots in which you can attack the CP. Beware though! You are in the open.
- This map is an excellent sniping map, due to it's openness. Use this advantage.
- Destroy the windows of the Watchtower, and let an Demoman bomb the building.
- When you drop down as a scout when walking straight to the Watchtower, move to the right, and jump on a wooden plank support, then move on a bit, then jump right; You are now where the enemy is,
perfect for a quick ambush.
- Those puddles of water at the bottom are usuable for 2 reasons:
- You can jump in them from high altitude, without any falling damage.
- You can cool yourself down when on fire.
